Ägina-Insel
Day 2 /2
Start cycling in morning around the island and we complete the ride either in Aegina town of to a beach close by (route may not display the full picture). The ride is great and we will make 2-3 stops to visit the Archeological site of the Temple of Aphaia, the medieval churches and the pistachio plantations – the island is very famous for those.
Dinner: Anywhere in town

Sehenswürdigkeiten
Insel Moni, Ägina, Klima Strand, Perdika Fischerdorf, Paleochora, Aphaia-Tempel, Archäologische Stätte von Kolona, Haus von Nikos Kazantzakis, Kapralos Museum, Pachia Rachi, Griechisches Wildtierkrankenhaus (EKPAZ), Ypapanti-Kirche, Taxiarches-Kirche - Ruinen des Tempels Hellanius Zeus.
Towards Ermioni
In the morning we catch a ferry and we get to island of Methana, a volcanic small island which is connected to the mainland over a small stripe of land – so techinically it is not an island 🙂
Beach time and relaxing until the heat gets
From Methana we cycle on one of the “sweetest” coastal routes I have ever been on. The ending point is the scenic town of Ermioni. A nice, easy going place with excellent food options (focus is on the fresh fish)
Route Notes: Jordan starts cycling from Methana while the family is shuttled to the 20th kilometre. I expect that there is no waiting for them as our driver will make sure to adjust the service accordingly. After the 20th km there is no traffic and the route is really spectacular.
Dinner: Ganosis, Spirandreas, Cavos All with Great fresh sea food and traditionally cooked dishes.
Unterkunft: 2 x apartments with great sea view

Spetses Island
After the breakfast, Jordan (optional) plus the guide start cycling on a fast tempo towards the small port of Costa. In the meantime, the rest of the family is being shuttled to the place.
Once you rejoin, you all cycle around the island of Spetses. You can stop enjoy a swim in one of the relaxed beaches found on the western part of the island. That is a lovely ride for the whole family.
After Spetses: we shuttle you back to Athens on our way we will do two stops
- Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus (Karte) – the very place where the theatre as we know it today has started.
- Corinth Canal – the famous canal that separates main Greece and the Peloponnese, a project that planned even from Roman times, but only finished during the 18th century.
Dinner: During your time in Spetses, I would suggest that you have something light to grab and on our way to Athens, entrust us to take you somewhere really special enroute to Athens. I will not share any details, since I want to maintain the element of surprise here. The plan should us to arrive there bfore sunset time
