Sunday Rides to Sounio

Overview

A superb and scenic ride along them coastal route of Athens. The route ends at the archaeological site of the Temple of Poseidon, an exquisite landmark. The route is mostly flat, with a few hilly parts which make the rider gaining no more than 60m / 190 ft on each one of them. A great, joyful route!

Ride Support

Our support vehicles will escort the group at all times. Our staff will make sure that you will not run out of water or snacks, and provide you with assistance from simply changing a tube and properly adjusting your gears, to transfer you back in case you’re are feeling tired or having any kind of emergency.

Transfer back from Sounion

In the case you just want to ride one way,  we transfer you back to the centre of Athens. Our van is expected to be at Sounio around 12.00 -12.30 hrs. On 13.00 hrs we depart from Sounio and head to the centre of Athens. We can drop-you-off in any area found on our way back and is convenient for you. The service is offered on a complimentary basis for all of our members.

Reservation is needed to be confirmed by latest Friday 21.00hrs.
The reservation is only needed for the transfer service to / from the Sounio area. No reservation is needed to participate our rides.

Mechanical Support

Our vehicles are equipped with a portable extensive tool kit, which allows us to deal with the majority of the issues that may come up during the ride. We will back you up with everything you might need.

Note: charges may apply in case of any spares being used for the repairs (e.g. tubes)
