Stenies was one of the most sophisticated marine villages of Andros, and even now stories of the sea are recounted in local cafes. The quaint alleys, traditional yards with blooming flowers, and flourishing lemon trees, transfer visitors to an older era. Here the famous beach of Gialia is located with its crystal clear turquoise waters.
